Latency Problems with Audiophile ????

I have an Athlon 1800 XP with 256mb ram with a M-audio Audiophile 2496. I am running REason. When I am getting really bad latency, it is unbearable. ANy ideas on how to fix it...drivers? more ram? different card?

Also...I can not figure out how to use the MAtrix Sequnecer in Reason...any tips?

Drivers, then settings. It *should* work fine.

Did you select ASIO M Audio Delta ASIO in the preferences (audio)?

I get 8 ms with the default setting with a PIII 800 - And I can even go down to 4 ms.

Propellor Head put together a great manual in PDF format that explains the matrix unit in detail. The manual is automatically installed with 2.0 and can be found in the start menu. There is also a good Reason forum were I have had many questions answered:
