line 6 usb interface? or alesis cable usb link

have any of you used the line 6 usb interfaces newer then the old tone port? ( comes with podfarm)

any good? does it work with amplitube 2 and reaper well? 4 gig ram here. dell xps laptop. very fast 2.68 or something ghz speed.

OR

the alesis cable that they sell, ( its 16 bit 44.1khz ) transforming bass or guitar cords into the usb jack doesnt have software

thanks. im looking for an interface less than 100 bux. low latency please!

Line 6 with Pod Farm is hard to beat. Good software can really add up. Pod Farm is one of the best.

Latency is determined by the kinds of effects and amp models, and how many you have in your chain.
Don't get hung up latency, in general 1ms = 1ft
10ms would be the same as sitting 10ft from a cabinet.
Your brain can easily adjust to latency, like double bass players have done for years when bowing.

cool I have software it's pretty great amplitude 2 and record with reaper studio

but I'm done with using a cable into my mic jack on the laptop next to the headphone jack ... I want an interface for USB

returning then line 6 it keep getting crackling and noise with every single program and daw I used with it,

ridiculous mynamplitube 2 didnt do this with my direct to sound mic card jack and my irig is flawless for 40 bux on my iPad !!!! with GarageBand 5 bux ?

so I'm pissed at everything reaper , line6 , Dell too !!!!
and returning it,
