Logic Pro with Trilian?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm a newbie as far as digital audio, but I was lucky enough to have a friend giving me his mac with Logic Pro on and I find a fantastic tool with which I'm recording my first CD with my band.

There're a lot of plaugins available to post-processing the bass track but I wonder if it's worth considering adding Spetrasonics Trilian to the library.

It's really for post processing the bass signal and here comes the question: would Trilian be useful at all ? I see Trilian being used as emulator of bass sounds for somebody that use for instance a midi keyboard as interface, but I'm unsure of the value it brings (sounds, effects) for a post-precessing situation.

Thanks

Using Logic on bass is really easy. The graphic EQ is really powerful and intuitive. The built-in compression is actually pretty decent... Unless you're doing something unconventional it has plenty of power to get the job done.
