M-Audio Delta 1010 LT question

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm thinking about (relatively) inexpensive ideas for my Christmas list... and once again, the 1010LT comes to mind. Here's my main question:

It boasts 10 inputs, so how many of these can you use at once?

All 10 can be used, but only 8 are audio inputs. The other 2 are digital iirc.

One of the drummers I record with had this card (actually, he just sold it to another drummer I play with after upgrading to a MOTU 24 channel card). He normally used all 8 audio inputs for recording his drums when he had the 1010. When we would record instrumental jams, we would disconnect a couple of mics from the kit to put on the bass and guitar (keys were midi into the DAW already). It worked well for live recordings like that.

Hope that helps!
