Just got my used m-audio fast track in the mail today and just wanted to know if anybody else was using or have use this item
in the past and what was your experience with it? All the re-
views that I have read so far many current and past owners did
not like the software that came with. Any suggestions of some
other software that is user friendly? Thanks !

Try the software and judge for yourself whether or not it's "user-friendly". That term has very different meanings for different people.

If you don't like it, try Audacity. It's free. I'm used to using some $1000+ software by Roland called SONAR, and I think Audacity is the closest you can get to a program like that for free.
