M-Audio Fast Track: what audio programs support it?

Sign in to disble this ad
I recently got my hands on an M-Audio Fast Track USB unit. I'm looking to get a simple multi-track/editing software that can record live play from my bass. Can anyone tell me how I can find out if a particular audio sequencing software works with the M-Audio? I'm very interested in getting the Tracktion software, but don't know the features lingo that says it can accept from USB. Would this relate to WMD/MME drivers or ASIO protocol?

thanks in advance.

I'd say contact either M-Audio or Tracktion (or whatever). Might as well get it from the horse's mouth. Usually hardware makers have an idea what software works with their stuff, and software makers sometimes have lists of compatible hardware.

Tracktion is great software, BTW and IMO.
