M-Audio Firewire 410

I'm about to buy one of these for a fairlly decent price and figured it would be a good upgrade from my M-Audio MobileUSB Pre but the more I've searched the more problems I find with them and Mac's, so I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience using them, I'm running OS X 10.3.9 on a G4 800mhz.

I'm not planning on doing anything major just treat my computer like a 4 track digital recorder.
