Sign in to disble this ad
Just snagged a MAC Mini and I want to use it for recording audio and video demo's - any advice on what is best to use, I want to be able to record my Bass with Vocals and backing tracks

Does Garage Band cover this or is there something third party?

Thanks!

GarageBand and a small FireWire or USB interface are all you really need.

Well if you want the best, Logic and Final Cut would be the way to go but GarageBand and iMovie are still pretty good tools for out of the box use.

Guitar Rig Mobile is also a great way to record and play with minimal costs on any computer.

I have a mini, to record the bass,
get an simple adaptor ( trs mono 1/4 to stereo 1/8 ) and you're good to go in GarageB or audacity...

But, yes, an interface will most likely be necessary for the vocals...
