Mac and Windows project - Audio Interface suggestions ?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm about to start on a small recording project that will use both mac and windows computers. We're likely to be tracking at most two instruments at a time, including some acoustic instruments (percussion, spanish guitar, mandolin)

Don't need the best gear available by any means, but looking to get reasonable quality.

Can anyone recommend an Audio Interface, USB, suitable for both Mac and PC, that can supply phantom power ?

Alesis IO2 seems to be a favourite at the moment (recommended by someone used to recording Spanish guitar).

Any advice welcome.

Thanks, Andy

(BTW, bass will most likely be tracked via Bass POD XT).
