Macbook pro question

Sign in to disble this ad
Are there any inputs on the Macbook pro that would record bass relatively well for home drum machine/bass recording type of stuff? Im just wondering if it would pick up the bass tone well or not. Thanks

Are we talking analog here? The Mic input is OK, but it's just consumer level audio.

You can read/write digital audio via USB and Firewire, but you need hardware for A/D or D/A and music application software on your Mac.

Check this for basic features: http://www.apple.com/macbookpro/features.html

Certainly an interface. However, you can now get guitar jack to usb leads that bypass the need for a full on audio device altogther: http://emusician.com/aux_hardware/em...h_light_snake/
