MIDI sync - Logic to Logic

Sign in to disble this ad
What's the best way to synchronize Logic Pro/Express on two different
Macs? MIDI?

If so, how do I connect the machines? I have USB/MIDI interfaces but
they each have the 5-pin male MIDI plugs on the end.

Any recommendations/hints on setup?

I use Logic Pro extensively for practicing/learning tunes on the bass.
I mute the bass track and play along while reading the scrolling score.
I would like to use a second synchronized Mac so a guitarist can
simultaneously view the guitar score and play, too. We would be
able to work on new tunes together.
