I've been saving my money to invest in some sort of home recording studio, so I can record some of my ideas and work on my production skills. So here's the setup: Dell Inspiron laptop computer, M-Audio USB Mobile Pre sound card, a Shure PG57 to mic the guitar amp, and an MXL condenser mic for vocals, plus I'll put some of the gear I've already aquired to good use. I'm also using Cool Edit Pro for my mixing program and I do all my sequencing with Sibelius (yes I do write all the notation). I'm looking forward to a summer of recording some of my work.
