Need Help! digidesign digi 002 content

Im getting into recording now and ive been reading a lot about gear, i was planning to get a simple interface, a preamp and some other stuff, but i found a really good deal on a digi 002 (the mixer version) and i am afraid that my pc is not going to be enough (pentium4 2.0, 2 gb ram)
Is my pc good enough to record with the 002?
is it too hard to "tweak" the computer to have it running fine?
i am also looking for some reviews

BTW i can get it for 550 bucks, for what ive seen on ebay, thats a decent price

I would not recommend using Pro Tools on a PC. If you're going to use PT a Mac is way way better.

Nah...A PC built properly will run ProTools just fine. These days you can put together a super fast reliable PC for round $600 that you'll rarely if ever have problems with. Mine runs awesome and several of the nicer "project" studios I do sessions at all run PC based systems as well...Macs are awesome but they are also expensive.
