I work mainly out of bigger pro studios but for smaller budget stuff here's my home studio:

I'd list gear... but it's just... too much

Brady Drumkit handmade in Australia i believe?

By far the nicest sounding kit i've ever played/ or recorded... destroys all the d&w n ludwig kits i've tried used so far...

I'm currently studying Audio Engineering so all my major recording projects are done in the studios at my University. My home studio is used mainly for mixing projects for uni, doing the occasional recordings for friends and laying down bass for other recordings.
I run everything on a 2GB macbook:

DAWs:
Protools LE 8
Logic Express 9
Garageband 9

Hardware:
Mbox 2 (factory bundle)
Mackie 402-VLZ3 mixing console (used for monitoring)
Presonus Faderport DAW controller
Behringer UCA202 RCA interface

Monitors + Headphones:
Roland/Cakewalk MA-7A reference monitors
Audio Technica ATHM50 Headphones

Mics:
Rode NTA-1 condenser mic
Shure SM58
Shure SM57

Current state of the room:

Control desk and most of the toys

Old gear that I still have - the TEAC is being rebuilt (new drive belts), the Studiomaster board needs use, and the Minidisc player was my "digital mastering" system back in the 90's / back in high school.

Beer fridge, PA gear, some other guit's, my gigging amp

I'm a Reaper user, a bit of a Presonus fanboy, have a bunch of mics in a bin. My buddy's JCM2000 head and cab are in the next room getting mic'd up. The P7000S is for sale or trade. I'm not sure which I like more anymore - recording or playing. Both, probably, dependent on how many stairs I have to lug the GIII for a gig...

It isn't much, though. I have the software bundle that came with the Behringer UCA222 interface, and I have a Behringer UB802 mixer which is not visible. I have my Peavey Windsor, my Acoustic 260 cab and head, my friend's DigitechRP200, and my trusty steeds, My Hammond L-102 and my Fender Standard Jazz Bass. The computer I use for recording is a eMachines T3418, slower than hell with graphics so bad I can barely read what I've just typed, and the DAWs(somewhat) are Kristal and Cantabile Lite, both freeware. I have close to 100 VSTis on my computer, from Modular synths to pipe organs, controlled by the Casio LK220 on top of the Hammond.

Also visible are a lot of my horribly painted model airplanes in the background.

just did some rearranging. Mix position now facing center of room rather than the window. It's not the "right way" to do it, but I'm finding that the sound from my monitors is more clear and open, and comb filtering does not seem to be a problem with the big homemade velvet curtains behind me.

woo.

Only the electrical room behind there (and I can squeeze past the amp without moving it).

Well this is my room right now.

it doubles as my bands rehearsal spot... not the best room, its L shaped and that makes it difficult to fit everyone in and still be able to see everyone.

works fine as a recording studio.
