Problems with my Korg D888 recorder

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi.

I purchased a Korg D888 digital recorder maybe 1-2 years ago,
and I have had some slight problems with it.
It wont connect to my PC anymore. The display says its connected but the PC doesnt find it.

Another problem is that the whole recorder freezes when im using it. The display freeze and i cant do anything except turning it off with the power switch in the back of it.
Could this freezing be a result of dust that have maid its way into the recorder?

Anyone having a recorder like this who have faced the same problems, or know what to do?
I guess its time for sending it to a repair or something..
(yes, i have read the owner's manual

Thanks in advance.

I have the Korg D1200 MkII, very simialar deck. Not sure about the freezing up thing, but as to the computer not recognizing the recorder, try re-installing the software from Korg. Hope you get it running, they're actually pretty decent recorders.
