Problems setting up audio interface? [HELP!!]

I'm totally new to recording, and just picked up my first audio interface.

I have an M-Audio fast track, and I'm trying to get some input to Amplitube 3. Amplitube seems not to be picking up any of the guitar/bass input for some reason. Does anyone know what might be wrong?

I know that the Fast Track is picking up my guitar's output because I am hearing my guitar out of my speakers from the headphone out on the Fast Track, but getting nothing in Amplitube.

I can answer more questions of necessary

Here are my settings

Thanks!

The input stage on that interface is very poor, especially for an instrument direct in. I've seen these cranked and still barely registering any input.

I was having the same kind of problems...forget the audio interface. Plug your bass into the mic input of your soundcard(i use the stock cheapo card and it works great) and your amp to the regular headphone output(may need some adapters). Go into you control panel and disable your audio outputs. Hook everything up and start your program. In the hardware settings(like in your picture)go into panel and use the drop down and turn on just the mic input you are use and the audio output you are using. This should work and you will get sound. If you leave your audio on in the control panel(sound) you will get a god awe full noise along with your bass. If you still have problems inbox me and I will give you my number to call me and I`ll walk you thru it...THAT GOES FOR ANYONE HAVING AUDIO PROBLEMS WITH AMPLITUBE...IT TOOK ME FOREVER BUT I FIGURED IT OUT ! the secret is to disable your audio output of the speakers your using in your pc control panel, amplitube will turn them on in the program when you select it in the audio settings panel drop down..

Do the following:

Make sure the button on the back is set to instrument.
In amplitube choose M-audio Asio as driver/Input device. Change the Left Channel to input 2 and the right channel to input 1. Leave the output channels as you have them. Finally turn the mix knob fully clockwise.
