Is there anyone who can comment on this DI? I would be using it with both passive and active basses. How does it effect tone, dynamics, etc?

i've only used active basses through the unit, and i've been pretty pleased with how it performed. i've plugged my basses into it and then into a pa, and it ended up sounding pretty good. decent low freq response, decent gain, good preservation of tone.
