I can understand the pro statement "kind of"

Guess the guitar player would call me nutty if I commented that I see more audacity in the pro staffed studios and venues than anything else

---

I just played a $$$$$$$$$ mega church that had 16 full-time staff members only for band production----- zillions of feet of cable.... Remote room was about 1/2 mile away.... One room just for preamp racks....one isolation room
To mix mains.... one isolation room to mix iem.... Mixing 96 channels to ----- audacity

They had protools, logic etc..... The lead man said "why complicate things Audacity gets it done"....

I chuckled when going back through the tunnels to go on stage to lip synch my 3rd camera angle

Audacity is remarkably well thought and very good at what it does. It can't compete with other DAWs for production but if you simply want to record, edit and master it is fine.

This statement literally means nothing. Reaper is great software for the price.
