My Alessis io14 Firewire Device does not show up as a choice in the preffered Record /Playback Devices on my laptop . It just shows the Soundcard in the dropdown menus. It was there once and it worked but now for an unknown reason, it has disappeared and I have no idea how to get it back.
I have the drivers installed succesfully ( tried a reinstall of latest version).
They show in the Systems Device Manager etc and there are no trouble indicators . '"Device working properly" and no "!" Marks.
The device indicates when a FW connect is made and this is lit up, indicating the laptop knows the device is present.
I can also control the device from the Direct Monitoring Software associated with it. (A Mixer input/output /patch interface on the laptop screen)
I need to get the device selectable as the record device before it works with Adobe Audition or Cubase (or whatever DAW)
Any ideas? (Thanx in anticipation.) |
