Recording to computer with iMic

I was recording a sample bass line with 3 different basses using my iMic to Audacity.

The Fretless J-Bass sounded good; no problems.
The P-Bass sounded good; no problems.
The Yamaha TRB1006 only gave me a feedback sound.

I'm guessing that it has something to do with the active electronics in the Yamaha. Does anyone have some insight?

Joe
