Has anyone tried recording direct with this box? I have, some, and so far it sounds great, I just haven't had a whole lot of time to actually mess with the settings. I was wondering if anyone has some cool settings for this thing as far as tight punchy sound or just some cool sounding effects?

Recording with Digitech BP50

I just purchased a Digitech BP50 and will try it on a
home recording using a Tascam 788 8-track and bass.
I will let you know what I find out. I bought it to use
for practice, but it may provide some decent sounds.
Please feel free to contact me and we can exchange emails.

I use one alot for recording. The Trace Elliot, Ampeg SVT, and Mesa 400+ simulators work good. Also make sure you use the cab simulator. For abit of a tight punchy sound try messing with the compression. On my computer you don't hear it too well, but when burned to a CD and played through a home stero system you can REALLY hear it.

The chorus mods are a nice touch. I am fixing to mess around with it some I will post some of my new findings.
