recording direct with Catalinbread SFT

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi

done a few searches, but no luck or I'm too slow-witted to find the advice I'm after.....so.....

Has anyone tried recording bass direct into board using a Catalinbread SFT?

If so or even if not, please would you share your experiences or thoughts about how well this could work.

I could take my whole rig (1979 Bassman 135 all tube head and 1970s MusicMan 1x15 ported cab). This would definitley give me lovely tube sound; but I am thinking about trying direct with an SFT.

what do you reckon?
