Bass / guitar / mics -> Apogee Duet -> Macbook running Garage Band. I do all the mixing, effects, etc. "in the box". I'm considering picking up an outboard preamp and compressor to tame peaks in the incoming signal, or I may just switch to Logic which should let me record at 24 bits.

Korg D3200. I just got it to replace my broken Yamaha AW1600 (which I loved).

UPDATE: I fixed My Yamaha AW1600... The FX processors quit working. I re-initialized the Hard drive and reloaded the defaults and Presto!

I also have a PreSonus Firebox and iMac But I only use it for mastering.

I'm running Pro Tools 8 with a Digi 002 on a MacBook Pro. I've also got an M-Audio Octane Preamp that I have connected to the 002 through Lightpipe, giving me a total of 18 I/O. For mics, I've got two Audio Technica 3035 large diaphragm condensers, 3 57's, and and a Shure Beta 52 kick mic. I also occasionally will use Reason 4 and Logic 7.

After several failed attempts at home recording on my budget on a 'puter decided to try a DAW. I started out with a Tascam DP01FX in '05 & last year gotta Tascam2488 mk II and love it. I find the Tascams very natural to work with so I can spend my time being creative instead of dinking away on the 'puter head.
I use my computers for lots of other music related stuff, really getting into soft synths, but the whole analog in/out and controlling things with a mouse just does not get the juices flowing.
