Which recording interfaces are compatible with the BassPOD's Variax/MIDI functions?

I've been trying to connect my BassPOD to my computer but Audacity doesn't have the ability to take a MIDI or Variax feed.

So which programs CAN I use?

Not quite sure what you want to do. I connect my Bass POD XT to my mac and record audio no problems.

I also use the 'Line6 Edit' (?) program on the mac to switch the Pod channels and edit the Pod settings. Part of that is achieving the same thing as driving the Pod channel changes through midi. Line6 Edit is, I think, a free download from the Line6 site.

Are you hoping to get midi out of the Pod ? I think that may be limited to just channel changes.

Does that help at all ?

Andy

Really all I want is to record some simple basslines. I'll take a look at the Line6 site though, thanks for that info!
