well thats what its designed for ain't it!

yes, you can, but you will need a way of getting it into your computer, a soundcard that normally means, with a mic input. The mic input will also need to be able to give 'phantom power', thats what condensor mics run off of.

I've got one sitting right next to me... unfortunately I haven't tested it yet because I lack any working gear with phantom power at the moment.

Here is what I do for this situation. I get a mixer (Behringer) and plug it into the LINE input of my computer. That way I get the benifit of the Behringer phantom powering and the quality of the large diaphram microphone.

As far as the MXL V63M goes it is a really nice mic that I have had good success using it for: vocals, acoustic guitar, woodwinds, drum overheads, grand piano and guitar and bass cabs. With the right techniques and placement it does a respectable job.
