Recording my band next weekend

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys,
Next weekend I am going to be recording my band, we are hoping to do an album. It wont sound great I know but I am hoping it will sound allright. The gear I have is 2 sony electro condenser mics and thats just going to run in stereo into cubasis through my creative augidy soundcard. We are planning to all setup, get a good room sound, then just play live so to speak and record that, then overdub some vocals in cubase.

Does anyone have any idea of how I can make this sound as good as possible? Here is a recording made with one of the mics running into an old tape recorder in our drummers bedroom! Recording

Many thanks in advance
Chris
