Recording with my GK 1001RB

Howdy friends.

At our apartment, the "studio" setup we have is simply a M-Audio Mobile Pre USB soundbox that has two XLR inputs and two 1/4" inputs. My question is; with my GK head, is the best option I have to use the XLR output on the head to go straight into the M-Audio? I've tested it out before and the sound is pretty dang good, considering the very simple setup we have.

Micing a big, beefy cab isn't an option right now. Any other suggestions?
I should be able to post up some sound samples fairly soon!

Happy holidays!

The GK xlr is a direct out, just like a mic. You would not see any benefit from micing a cab in an apartment.

Guys that use a direct box to go to the board are using the same tech that is in the GK DI out. You are good to go.
