Recording for practice sake - what software and why?

Sign in to disble this ad
After a LONG hiatus, I'm back to playing again. One of the things I'm doing is having part of my practice time being dedicated to learning new tunes, or perfecting ones I already know. I'm planning on plugging my Bass Pod XT Live to my PC, and I'd like to get some input on software you've used that was a) economical and b) easy to use. My suggestion box is now open!

Thanks everyone.

Thumbs up Stand-alone recorder

I bought a Line 6 Back track that plugs into your laptop( or PC) and can run through out a practice session or just savable sections....It saves .wave files and is user friendly which is important . $99 with-out the mic or 149.00 with the mic. Worth checking out.....
Oh by the way no software to install.....................
