Hi,
I don't have much experience in recording my bass with my PC, So I have a couple of questions and I need some good advice.
I composed some solobass-compositions and I've recorded them on my PC yet.
I used a Soundblaster Live soundcard and experimented with different software like: Music Cleaning lab, Goldwave, Cool edit 2000. I can also use Cubase vst 32 but I haven't tried this out yet.
The result is acceptable for me, but I wonder if I replace my Soundblaster live soundcard for a Midiman Delta (Audiophile)soundcard (or other),would this, considering that it's only solo-bass,give me a significant improved audible result?
and what is the best software to get the best
audible result?
Final question: I plugged in directly in my soundcard (line-in)only using a Zoom 506 effect processor to give the stereo output.
Do I have to use an amp with a line-out to get better results or only a mixer(or both)?
Thanks,
Tony |
