Recording Streaming Audio

Sign in to disble this ad
My band is going on the local radio station this afternoon. Getting a board mix might not be an option, so I wanted to record the streaming show as a backup.

The stream goes through iTunes. I can't get any of my recording software to record it. I have a stock soundcard on a netbook, and a headphone and microphone jack. Google search has given questionable suggestions.

Anybody have a quick and safe solution for capturing this stream?

this is probably too late but . . .

For next time, get a copy of Audio HiJack. In the unpaid mode you can capture anything that goes through the sound chip of the computer for 10 minutes. Anything past that gets white noise until you pay the $25.

I use this for streaming internet radio, grooveshark captures, YouTube audio captures. Anything that goes through your computer.
