recording using a groove tube brick cuestion

hello, I want try this for record my smith 5:

I want blend two signals...

1) groove tubes the brick with a little of tube signal
2) one shure beta 52 in one speaker of my epifani 210 combo

I want blend both signal to get a nice sound...

I think I can put the bass in into the INST INPUT of the GT and send the THRU INST from the brick to the IN of the amp???

if you have any advice will be great!!!

That's exactly how you do it. Just make sure to record two different mono signals.
