Recording video on a PC - what program?

Hey... I'm going to be getting the audio through a TC Konnekt 6 and want to simultaneously record audio and video with a webcam thing. Any recommendations for programs that can do this. Sony Vegas maybe? What else?

I record to an .avi file with XVID Mpeg4 encoder, and MP3 128kbs 44.1khz stereo. Keeps the file nice and small and the youtube quality is great.
