Replacement for my Pandora PX4D

Sign in to disble this ad
My wife stepped on it and broke it.

I had to have it on the ground by my desk due to the power cord not being long enough. Anyway...

The unit is busted. It still does the aux in normally but my bass sounds like C_R_A_P now. I did play with the settings, I know it by heart.

Anyway what would you recommend? I have an audition on Friday and I need to cram 5 songs. I have already resched this audition.

I have several choices in mind:

1-buy the same unit at GC, put the broken one in and return it (kidding, although I hate GC I am not dishonest)
2- Pandora PX5
3-Zoom B2.1U
4-Tascam US-144 or any Tascam that is bass compatible.

I don't use MP3, only Rhapsody. As I say all the time, I pay for my music as well as for my software (I am a musician and a programmer and like to be paid for my work), so no TASCAM MP3

I don't have any CDs and I don't want to burn CDs either, so no TASCAM-CD either.

I would like a USB option to make it easier to record on my PC as well as do some modelling and patching from there.

THanks!

I had the PX4D... until I saw the PX5D! It is so much better than the PX4D. The fact that it also works as a low latency ASIO audio interface is the reason I stopped using my Session I/O audio interface and my Tascam US 144 audio interface. It's kinda of pricey, but I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
