How is the DKFH installed into the drum module.. if its not then its installed to the computer right?

Im kinda new to all this recording stuff and was wondering how to properly connect the td-6 to a computer.

Hi Jason,

If DKFH is installed on your computer. You can trigger the sounds in it via MIDI from your TD-6. The DKFH can operate "standalone" or as a "plug in" with your recording software. You will need a MIDI interface for this. I you have a MIDI interface for the computer, plug the MIDI out of the TD-6 to the MIDI in of the MIDI interface, and you should be good to use DKFH. If you want to record the MIDI as a file in the computer for editing, you would need a MIDI recording program. You could then edit the MIDI data, and then send the modified MIDI data to the DKFH as a plug in within the audio application to trigger the sounds.

I hope that all made sense. Feel free to contact me with any further questions.

Thanks!
Dan
