Saffire Compatibility?

I got a Focusrite Saffire back in December, but I didn't have a good computer so I hadn't installed it. But when I did today, the software installed all properly and when I tried to open Saffire Control it said there's not Saffire connected to my computer.

I tried restarting, unplugging and plugging again, and all the obvious options but not luck.

I'm using an Intel MacBook Pro with Tiger, and just connecting it with the FireWire cable that was in the box.

Any ideas?
