simple question about passive monitors

i have a pair of passive event 20/20 monitors that im planning to use with a digi 002mx, i know i need an amplifier for the speakers, but what kind of amplifier?
is there an specific moitor amplifier or can i use any power amp?

You dont need a specific one, just one that will work with your speakers.

You can get amplifiers which are more specifically for monitors, these are called reference amplifiers, and should be clearer and flatter. Tho, most power amplifiers are clear and flat!
