smelly comfort strapp

hi everybody

i have a comfort strap and i like it a lot besides the fact that it cost me an arm and a leg.... anyway i´ve been working 2/3 times a week and the softrubber part is getting a little bit to smelly cause all of the sweat that goes in there ....can someone tell me how to wash it without damaging it...?

I've washed mine in the washing machine, gentle cylcle. Didn't hurt it at all and now it's clean..

I've washed mine, too, same way as Butch in the gentle cycle. I put the strap in one of those mesh bags that the ladies use for their "delicates", it helps to keep the foam backing from getting battered around in the machine. And, of course, don't put the strap in a dryer since that will really dry the foam pad out .... let it air dry.

Really? I just got one from Bass Exchange, it was about $40 altogether. Have you checked out some of the fancy leather straps? $100 or more!! No way, for me.

oh man

thanks guys for the tips on washing the strap ....it was pricey because i live in europe and the only shop that would sell it on the internet takes advantage of that to charge extra money for the product.....anyway i love it it keeps the my GL a litlle bit lighter on my back.....tnahkx guys TBASS ruleZZZZZ

Just so you know, Elderly Instruments ships internationally, and they sell their Comfort Strapps new for $32.
