| Tackling recording latency
So, I recently fot my first decent interface - a Focusrite 2i2. I gave it a shot at recording some covers, by opening the song on my DAW (audition) in a multitrack session and recording on another track. I use the direct monitor when playing so latency is not an issue; however, when I play it back my recorded track is always just a bit late. I have ASIO drivers and I tried setting them up, but can't get decent results. Do you have any hints on how to set the whole thing to get a decent latency and make recording even possible? |
