Was just wondering if this is any good? Just read about learning by ear in the FORGET TABS! thread. I've been interested in it for a while...

Sorry if this has been done before, and if this shouldn't be in this forum...

I have one of these and love it. It is a great practice tool- you can slow songs down, loop a section, and change keys for a song. In my band we use a few different tunings so this feature is awesome. Obviously, the sound quality is not as good when you use some of these features but it is good enough to help you learn the song which is why you bought the thing in the first place :-)

I highly recommend this product, I use my just about every day. You will want to buy the AC adapter to go with it though, it goes through batteries pretty quickly.

I hope this helps.
