Tascam Dr-1 Question ok to run thru home speakers?

Hello all, I currently own a dr-1 and I love it! Its great for recording practices, it easily dumps the mp3's to my computer so can email them to band members. Very easy to use and sounds great for what it is. I have a question about this, it may seem dumb. I currently do not have a practice amp, I was messing around with the tascam and I plugged my sadowsky hybrid into the mic 2 port and then ran the line out into my home surround sound system. It sounded great! My only question is, Is this bad for the speakers, home receiver, bass or tascam dr-1. It is very convienent to use this way but I don't want to damage any of my equipment. What do you think? Thanks so much-Mike

If you're not pushing the speakers too hard and there's no distortion, it shouldn't cause any damage.
