Has anyone read anything on this or the 322? They've caught my eye and I do believe I'll be grabbing one soon. I just wonder when they'll be available.

Hopefully the new preamps are much quieter than the ones in the US-144. I have one of those and the preamps are almost unusably noisy unless you're eating the mic.

I would venture to think so. They speak highly of the pres in the newer models.

Also irrelevant for me as I wouldn't like be recording vocals. Just direct instrument.
