Toneport into GarageBand?

Hi all,

I have been looking online at one of these toneport's for fairly simple home recording into my mac and garageband. Can you use garageband with the toneport? I see it has another simple recording software built into it, but I prefer to stay with gb.

Oh and lastly, is it even worth it to buy a toneport (or something similiar)? Or can get by with gb's built in features? I am really trying to get the best tone(s) possible.
