What equipment is needed for this type of recording?

For example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXNbMRNmyJk

Besides the obvious webcam, what other gear is needed to do this type of recording? Laying a new bass track over the existing recording and synching video...

Any insight is appreciated.
