What software simulators are for studio-work?

Sign in to disble this ad
I Building my studio, and need to know what software simulators there are on the market?
I'm new in the game, so I've got no clue on how to get crazy synth-bass
sounds into my production.
Please help me.

Thanks

Amp simulator: http://www.ampegsvx.com/ very good one.

Audio controlled synths (free): http://frettedsynth.asseca.com/ats.htm lot of fun.

I am not sure if I got you question, though.

I just use pedals and go direct through a USB M Audio input

While software effects can be cool, I still find myself wanting to us my pedals. I know I might be crazy, but I feel taking away your pedals is removing part of your craft and giving it back to the computers.

just my opinion.
