I was having a conversation with Mark Morton about current modern bass techniques and he said something I think hit the nail on the head.
"Modern bass playing has passed its infancy and is now in its adolescence". I think he nailed it. Don't miss his recital at the ISB convention in OK. City in a few weeks.
