Dean Basses

I'm thinking about getting a Dean Bass. But no one has heard of them. Are they bad or just unknown?

Do a search, or check with other members on this board. I believe there are plenty of Dean owners here.

I own a Edge Q-5, a Razor NT-4, and a Razor NT-5.

The finish and quality of the neck thrus are excellent. Great tone too. Don't know what they cost elsewhere, but I got my NT-4 for $450, and my NT-5 for $550. As far as value for the dollar, I say they are great.

I played a Dean at a music store... OK I suppose. But let it be known I was playing it in contrast to the Geddy Lee Jazz I was checking out that day too.


So in conclusion, instead of buying a Dean, buy a Geddy Lee Jazz.
