I caught your last tour when you came through Omaha with Tom and Jerry.(Remember the heckling drunk?)
I was wondering what inspired the punk rock take on Caroline Says?Had you been listening to alot of Berlin?I
also heard you played The Blue mask at one point.Which is also an interesting choice!Does Lou infect the aural very often?

hi,

lou reed is a huge influence on me. I remember when "berlin" came out and how blown away I was by it. this last tour featured a lot of tunes by cats who've played a big part of my musical development - a tribute to them and also to turn on younger cats to folks they might not have heard about but had a giant effect on me. everyone grows from some sort of soil and I was trying to let people in on mine.
