I haven't been real into "punk rock" since the early nineties. Or, at least thats what I thought. The ethos that I'm gonna stand up here and play what I'm playing and piss off if you ain't diggin' it has stuck with me through thick and thin. I read some interview with you right after i saw Banyan play at Lollapallooza, and it really struck a nerve. I can't quote it directly (perhaps a lil too much hash
) but the jist of it was like; If you've got the attitude you are punk rock. It's that lack of attitude that really turned me off to most music of the last decade. Keep spankin that plank. Thanks to constantly having my mind blown by fellas like you, I'll do the same.
