gypsy rose sidebar: liked that bass a lot - not a perfect instrument obviously - but wonderfully light and comfortable.
i am just not a P bass guy and couldn't justify hanging onto it with all the other instruments i own...
w/ a replacement bridge and your preferred strings an absolutely gig worthy instrument though!
(i did a flat black headstock and pickguard w/ the Rose logo filled in on the black sparkle one...)

Ric 4001-4002-4003 are 33.25" scale. Closer to long scale than medium scale.
