3D software compatability ?'s

Sign in to disble this ad
The luthier I am apprenticing under uses Rhino 3D modeling software for PC for templates, then uses those files for the CNC machine. I, however, use a Mac with OSX. Is there a 3D program for Mac that is directly compatable with Rhino? Does such cross-platforming exist?

Thanks.

Better late then never

Any CAD software that saves lines and splines as .dxf files is fine. Most, if not all, do have this export feature on any platform ( Mac, PC, Linux, Onyx )
